More About Us

Our company has sprung forth from a tiny seed planted years ago through the inspired words "Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow"; (Matthew 6:28).

Having withdrawn from the hectic pace of her former life in the city, Jane Pierce, the principal artist of the group, has found her niche in the quietness of her mountain home, near Cascade, Idaho U.S.A., surrounded by the beauty and peace of creation.  Her life-long love of flowers finds new expression each day as she arranges the pressed petals and stems, grown in her own back yard, or chosen from the surrounding meadows and hills, into unique and beautiful arrangements, each one bearing a special unspoken message of love, encouragement, comfort and blessing.  It is her heart's desire to transmit a blessing through each design that leaves her hands, with the fervent hope that both giver and recipient will be enriched.  She truly invests a part of her life into each design.

Mike, husband and father, encourages, sees to the business aspect of Lilies, and is our general counselor and advisor.  He plays a key role doing whatever is necessary to see that Lilies goes forth.

Twins Matt and Danny add their talents and energy to the creative process begun by their mother by performing the intricate and skilled work necessary to transform the original designs into computer images that are often so life-like that the natural response of the viewer is to touch the flowers to test their texture.  Using the floral designs and occasionally incorporating an appropriate message, they produce the cards and prints that are the finished product of Lilies of the Field, Inc.

The designs are best when studied in an unhurried, meditative manner, with plenty of time for reflection.  Take a moment and allow yourself to be immersed in the unfading beauty of these designs; you will be refreshed and transported by the majesty and simplicity of God in his natural creation.
