THE CROSSING
The crossing is the
loosing upon the reins we hold, and the giving of those reins and all they
represent into the hands of the One who alone can hold them.
The crossing is releasing our hopes and
dreams into the hands of the One who made us, and trusting Him to give us His
perfect will, which will then be ours.
The crossing is always heavenward. It is
always ascension from where we have been to the higher place where He dwells.
The crossing is leaving the things of Earth
in order to see the Kingdom of Heaven. It is leaving the dust of the Earth to
partake of the immortal.
The crossing may be exchanging our lives now,
while on the Earth, or it may be leaving Earth and living in His presence.
Either way is death: one to our self while yet present in this realm; the other
to our bodies while present in His home.
The crossing is knowing from whence we came -
and returning. It is the exchange of where we live even while in the body
- or not.
The crossing is the process, the bridge of
the spirit to walk into His kingdom.
The crossing is the yielding of our life to
receive LIFE.
It is walking by the Spirit so we may live.
